Analysis: Pirates starting pitcher JT Brubaker has had a good season so far, but his worst outing of the season was against the Cardinals, who are also the generally better team and they’ve won 11 out of their last 12 as favorites.
MLB: Boston Red Sox @ Toronto Blue Jays
Pick: Blue Jays -135
Analysis: Blue Jays have been very strong this season when they start off a series as a favorite and we believe this will be one of the times the Red Sox won’t be able to keep up.
MLB: Arizona Diamondbacks @ LA Dodgers
Pick: Dodgers -230
Analysis: Dodgers have been great so far this season when they start off a series as a favorite. Odds are lower than our other two picks, but it’s also the most safe play.
NBA: Washington Wizards @ Boston Celtics
Pick: Wizards +2.5 at -110
Analysis: Wizards are on an upgoing curve and have Bradley Beal coming back. Them covering the spread vs a Celtics team with no Jaylen Brown seems like a good bet.
