This week will provide lots of exciting Premier League action as we’re finally returning from the international break. Most soccer fans can’t wait for the international break to be over to watch some club football again. Although there were lots of interesting matches in the past week, this is where the real thrill begins. This week of Premier League games has a lot in store for us. Some of the most important matches will happen on Saturday as Arsenal faces Liverpool and Leicester City to play it out against Manchester City.
The Standings
The standings are currently looking fantastic in favor of Manchester City as they’re a few wins away from winning the league title. The battle for Champions League football looks more exciting as Man United, Leicester, and Chelsea are heading into the top competition with the Citizens.
Leicester City vs. Manchester City
The two sides will face on the 3rd of April at 12:30 pm (Saturday). This is one of the top games we’ll see over the weekend. Leicester City is 3rd on the table, and they have a home advantage over the mighty side that is Man City. Although home advantage doesn’t mean that much without all the fans, it might help them out a little bit. Manchester City has won their previous two games in the competition after their loss at the Etihad against Man United.
They’re looking to extend their form at the King Power Stadium. At the same time, Leicester has also won their last two games in the Premier League, and it will be hard to continue it against the league leaders. Kelechi Iheanacho is the player to watch for the Foxes, while Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan are leading the way for Man City in midfield. Leicester’s odds are +537, a draw will be +330, and a win for the Citizens is -173. Our prediction for this game is a comfortable Man City win with at least a two-goal difference.
Arsenal vs. Liverpool
Arsenal will face Liverpool on the same day as Leicester against Man City but at 3 pm. This game will probably be the most exciting over the weekend. The legendary soccer clubs are not looking good on the table as Liverpool is sitting 7th on the table and Arsenal two spots behind them. The mighty have fallen as Liverpool has an injury crisis while Arsenal is looking to rebuild their team from scratch. The Gunners are looking better and better each week, but we’re not sure if that’ll be enough to take a win from the titleholders. Liverpool’s form has been shaky in the few months, but their win against Wolverhampton might inspire them to go on a win-streak. Arsenal made a thrilling comeback against West Ham in their last game, giving them hope for this game. This game’s odds for Arsenal are +210, a draw is +251, and a Liverpool win is +126. The winner for this match is very unpredictable, and we don’t recommend betting on the outcome. We think that for a game like this, it’s best to bet on Over 2.75 goals. The odds for this are -111, and it’s perfect as both teams always produce high-scoring games.
Wolverhampton vs. West Ham United
The two teams face each other on the 5th of April at 3:15 pm (Monday). Wolves are currently sitting 13th on the table while West Ham is 5th and almost in the Champions League spot by only two points. Although this match might not be exhilarating for neutral fans, it’s going to be very close indeed. Wolverhampton tends to play defensively in big games, while West Ham United will look to attack and continue their excellent run in the Premier League this season. The odds for Wolverhampton are +190, +210 for a draw, and +155 for a West Ham win. Our prediction for this game is a draw, but the best bet would certainly be Under 2 Goals. The odds for this are +102.
