The schedule today for the Euro 2020 soccer tournament is as full as it gets – two matches will be played at 12:00 PM and two at 3:00 PM Eastern Time. These are the last games of group B and C respectively and they’re played at the same time, to create the most tension within the 90 minutes of action and for fans to know the full outcome of the groups in question as soon the refs blow the final whistle.
We had two bets for Saturday’s games: Spain and Poland both to score, the teams managed and we netted a +133 payout. For the Germany – Portugal game we had under 2.5 goals and we got burned since it became the highest scoring match of the tournament so far.
We’re heading back to the well today, so far we’re at 5/9 at +88 using a variety of our recommended sportsbooks for our soccer betting endeavor.
Macedonia – Netherlands
Macedonia have lost their first two games at the Euros with a combined goal difference of -3 and we don’t expect things to go much different today vs the Netherlands.
Macedonia is ranked 62nd in the world while the Duch are at 16, a very big difference and Macedonia is in the Euro 2020 what is best can be described as a fringe team.
Sure, Netherland might look to save a few players, but that shouldn’t keep them from dominating this game.
If we had to choose, we’d put our money on Netherlands to win at -385 and over 2.5 goals at -240, but the late prices on these markets have gone too low for us to commit.
Ukraine – Austria
A win for either team will make sure they advance to the round of 16, but a tie gets both teams to reach the promised land of playoff soccer at the Euro 2020. So each team will look to do anything in this game but lose. In case of one point, Austria moves on as one of the best 3rd place finishers of all groups, while Ukraine gets on through a 2nd place finish in group C.
It’s quite fitting that these teams are in this position as they’re ranked 23rd and 24th in the FIFA rankings before the tournament started.
Most worrying for our best bet is the potential difficulties of the Austrian side to score, but they have their main striker Marko Anautovich back and we think that’ll help out.
Best Bet:
Draw +110
Belgium – Finland
Even though the number one ranked team in world Belgium can rotate as many players as they want due to them having secured the number 1 spot, we still expect something similar to an onslaught on the Finnish goal. Top scorer in the Italian Serie A - Romelo Lukaku - also has a Gold Boot(Euro 2020 top scorer) title to compete for, so it'll be interesting to see how much playing time he picks up in this one.
There’s simply too much offensive firepower on the Belgian team and the pick for us is pretty straight forward.
Best Bet:
Belgium to win by 2 or more, -110
Denmark – Russia
Probably the most exciting game of the day, the 2nd place in the group is up for grabs in this game as long as Belgium beats Finland. Russia moves on to the round of 16 with a win or tie, whereas Denmark will need a win straight up to move on through a tie breaker in the group which would see three teams all having three points.
The Danish side will once again be without Christian Eriksen, but if they can manage an energy level in the game similar to what was seen in their unfortunate 1-2 defeat vs Belgium, we think it’ll be enough to secure a win in their home stadium.
Best Bet:
Denmark to win, -140

Can I bet on the result of a game if it's already started?
Yes sure, you just have to use the live betting section of the sportsbook you are using. All of our recommended sportsbooks feature live betting sections. -
If a favorite in a game has higher odds thanks to a handicap -1. What does handicap mean?
Betting on a team with a handicap makes up for more favorable odds. Handicap -1 means that the team you bet on starts the game with a goal behind, meaning they need to win the match with two goals or more for your bet to be a winner. Should they win by exactly one, your bet is a push and the stake returned to your account. -
I want to put my money on a team with really high odds. Is this a good idea?
There is a reason the odds are high: because chances are small that that team will win the match. So, you might win more, but the chances of winning are smaller. If you think the high odds doesn't represent the actual chance of the outcome, then of course you have a good bet on your hands. -
I want to combine the outcome with the exact score, is this possible?
You can combine such bets at most sportsbooks, just use the Bet Builder function offered by most of our recommended sportsbooks.
