The 13th of March will take all the spotlight, and we can’t wait for it to come! UFC Vegas 21 will be an exciting night for MMA fans worldwide as the main event on this card will be Leon Edwards taking on Belal Muhammad. Every MMA fan will love a close fight between these two welterweights.
There are some more interesting fights taking place before the main event starts, and we’re going to go through a few of them. Bear with us to find out what the best odds for some of the fights are, and we will also go with some of our predictions for each of them.
Dan Ige vs. Gavin Tucker
Since Rothwell fighting Linse isn’t going to happen due to injury. They didn’t mention which fighter is unable to fight; all we know is that the fight will be scratched from UFC Vegas 21.
And that’s the reason this fight will take the 3rd spot at the event.
This featherweight fight is certainly going to be a close one. Even though Ige will be a slight favorite, we can expect one of the closest fights on the card.
If we check at the odds from one of our bookmakers, Ige’s odds are -130, while Tucker’s are +100. Looking at these odds, we know there won’t be a “real” favorite here.
Misha Cirkunov vs. Ryan Spann
I can’t be the only one that can’t wait to see Cirkunov and “Superman” going at it. This light heavyweight bout will keep everyone on their feet since it’s bound to be a spectacle.
Misha has a much better ground game than Spann, while the American’s striking is way better, giving us a fight of both worlds. So we’re probably going to see Cirkunov winning by submission or Spann getting the win by KO/TKO.
The Latvian’s odds from one of our bookmakers will be -140, making him the slight favorite, while Spann’s odds will be +110, which is near even.
Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad
And for the main event, Leon Edwards facing Belal Muhammad is what we’re impatient for. There was a lot of talking before this fight, and we all know that Edwards will be the favorite to win this fight, even though this will be “Rocky’s” first fight since July 2019.
Muhammad already mentioned that he’s a dangerous fight for everyone, but he took the fight on short notice, and it’s one of the reasons making him the underdog here.
We believe that Muhammad will try to push hard in the beginning, but Edward’s stamina and athleticism, in general, are going to take the better of him. Of course, they’re just predictions, but Leon Edwards just might get the title shot he so desires by winning this fight.
Our bookmakers are aware that Edward’s is a moderate favorite, making his odds -250, while Muhammad’s odds as an underdog will be +200.
Their pro-record is precisely the same, and while we think the fight is going to end by decision, all we can do is wait for the fight to happen and see.
